Patton is 23” tall and weighs 72 lbs. His hips are OFA “Good” , his elbows are OFA “Normal”, and his heart is OFA “Normal” as certified by the Orthopedic Foundation For Animals, and his eyes are CERF “Normal” as certified by the Certified Eye Registration Foundation. This certificate is earned by performing 10 obedience exercises correctly as certified by an AKC evaluator. Patton has also earned the title RN (Rally Novice) as part of his name. Rally is a new form of obedience in which courses of obedience exercises must be passed with a qualifying score three times under at least two different judges.

Patton has sired eight litters, four from the same female, Scarlett (SwanSun‘s True Colors CDX, RE, CGC). From his first litter (3M, 4F) he has produced a daughter, Pudden (SwanSun’s Butterscotch Pudding) who won her class at our local Golden Retriever Specialty and took seconds in both her Sweepstakes and Regular class at the Golden Retriever Specialty in Seattle. She has passed all her genetic tests and has OFA “Good“ hips , “Normal” elbows, “Normal” heart, and CERF eyes “Clear”.Pudden has also produced SwanSun's Northwest Simcoe CCA who has earned 6 championship points. (To become a Chamion, you must earn 15 points under at leat 3 different judges with at least two major wins of 3 points or more.) In his second litter (8M, 4F) he produced a son, Woodie, (SwanSun’s Timber Terror CD, CGC) who earned his Companion Dog degree and his Canine Good Citizen certificate, and a daughter, Carly (UCD SwanSun’s Anticipation RA CGC) who has OFA “Good“ hips, CERF eyes “Clear”, and Cardiac OFA “Normal” and has earned her Canine Good Citizen certificate,her Rally Novice (RN), her Rally Advanced (RA), her UKC Companion Dog degree (UCD) and her first qualifying score toward her Rally Excellent degree, and two passes toward both her AKC Companion Dog degree (CD), and another son (Daagen Pazs Mystique) who has OFA "Good" hips and "Normal" elbows and CERF "Normal" eyes. His third litter consisted of four males and four females with one of the females (SwanSun's Autumn Colors CGC) going into a competition obedience home. Their fourth litter together consisted of 6 males and 2 females, one of which has earned his CGC (SwanSun's Northwest Territory CGC). Pictures of Pudden and Carly are available on their own pages.

His fifth litter was with “Goldberry’s Bluegrass Scooter CD, CGC” who had three pups (2F, 1M). We are especially proud of this litter as Scooter had been bred twice previously to Patton’s father, became pregnant, but was unable to carry the pups to term. Her people are extremely excited to finally have pups and they plan to show in obedence and to work as therapy dogs. Two of the pups in this litter, Goldberry's Rosie Cotton RE, CGC (OFA Good hips, Normal heart and CERF eyes) and Goldberry's Rowdy Ranger CGC, have earned their Canine Good Citizen certificates (CGC). Rosie also has her own page (see left). They both plan to continue to train and compete in Rally and Obedience. Rosie has also earned her Rally Novice degree (RN), her Rally Advanced degree (RA) and Rally Excellent degree (RE) all with first or second place wins. The third pup, Goldberry's Ginger Snap, has OFA "Good" hips as well.

His sixth litter was with Tamarack’s Wild Rose (Aspenglos Western Marshall MH X Sara McDougall). This litter was 10 pups (5M, 5F) with one male "Sunny's Backup AX, AXJ, OF" and one female "Summer's Golden Rose OAP, NJP" going into agility homes. Summer has already earned two titles with legs (passing scores) in another and Backup has legs in three other agility titles so far. Summer has earned numerous agility titles in NADAC and many placements at their National in Gillete, WY in 2008. BACKUP HAS BECOME PATTON'S FIRST QUALIFYING OFFSPRING TOWARD "OUTSTANDING SIRE" STATUS. One male "King's Sundance Best Friend" went to an obedience home where he has so far earned his first passing score in Rally Novice. "Buddy" has also become a Delta Society Registered Pet Partner. We expect to continue hearing great things from these pups!

Patton's seventh litter was 5 males and 2 females with Lynndee's Emma's Impressive who is a Delta Society Registered Pet Partner.

Patton's eighth litter was with Unsinkable Molly Gold. There were 5 males and 3 females. We are happy to be able to see "Rowdy" from this litter as one of our boarding customers. He is a very handsome boy and a credit to his Dad.

Patton's ninth letter was with The Golden Sun of Macedonia. There were 3 surviving pups out of five, 1 female and 2 males.

Patton's stud fee is $700.00, with $350 due at the time of breeding and non-refundable. The second half is due prior to the litter registration being signed. Patton will be bred to "Maced" (pronounced Maucet) whose registered name is The Golden Sun of Macedonia. This is a repeat breeding. We got absolutely gorgeous pups the first time and are expecting more of the same. Maced is a pretty little girl, dark gold, with a sweet face and lovely disposition. The median for Golden Retrievers is .54 and Maced is at the 60th percentile. That means her hips are better the 60% of the Goldens tested. Patton has also had his hips Penn Hip tested and is at the 80th percentile with Left .41 and Right .37. Maced has passed her eye certification with CERF.
